Our run of winning was never going to last forever, and we didn’t do too badly last week, even if we didn’t quite scale our previous heights.
Southampton’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg top scored for us, and not just with his name in Scrabble. Perez, Redmond and Richarlison got into double figures for points too, but Ben Foster and the Brighton pair were below par and so our team was too.
Draft Kings‘ contest has just three matches from which we can select our team in week 37, which always makes things more interesting, especially when none of the top six are included. By using our algorithm to find the players who have performed best over the last six weeks, we’ve assembled our gang of eight. Before we reveal all, here are the matches this week.
Our algorithm likes the look of Cardiff City vs Crystal Palace, as half of our team will be lining up in south Wales on Saturday. The only Eagle present will be Luka Milivojevic, so we’re probably relying on Palace getting a penalty for him to get a decent haul of points, to be honest.
He’ll be up against Neil Etheridge (the goalkeeper in our team of the season), as well as Bruno Ecuele Manga and Sean Morrison. The latter has missed very good chances against Liverpool and Fulham recently – hence his high score for having those shots – so hopefully he delivers here.
To the west Midlands next, where Joao Moutinho‘s Wolves host Ryan Babel‘s Fulham. Those players don’t own those teams, just to clarify, but they are included in our squad.
That leaves us with one match and two Saintly players. The aforementioned Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg retains his place, and if he can assist Nathan Redmond for a goal then all the better.
Here’s our full fantasy football week 37 team. Good luck!
