How did you get on last week? We did okay, but if we had eight James Maddisons, we’d have done a lot better.
The Leicester man was responsible for over 40 percent of our points total in week 33. Luka Milivojevic did what he usually does – score a penalty – to pick up a decent tally, but none of our other six players broke double figures. No one ever said it was going to be easy.
Draft Kings‘ contest has five matches from which we can select our squad in week 34, so by using our algorithm to find out which players have performed best over the last six weeks, we’ve assembled our eight man team. Before we reveal who’s in, here are the games this week.
Manchester United are the only top six team included in the contest this week, as they face West Ham at Old Trafford. Despite losing four of their last five games in all competitions, it would be a surprise if the Red Devils didn’t prevail in this one.
Even so, they won’t have it all their own way, and our system has selected players from both sides. David de Gea gets the nod in goal, while Paul Pogba and Felipe Anderson can duke it out in midfield.
Our two forwards are on the road this week. Gylfi Sigurdsson is off to Craven Cottage and Raul Jimenez will be at Southampton. Hopefully the Wolves man scores, but maybe save the face mask until the match is over, Raul?
We’re going three at the back (including the utility spot) this week. The Burnley pair of James Tarkowski and Ben Mee should be able to keep Cardiff out in the crunch game at the bottom of the table, while Shane Duffy will hope to do the same thing to Bournemouth’s front line.
Here’s our full fantasy football week 34 team. Good luck, friends!
