I’m sure Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would’ve wreaked merry hell against Huddersfield for our previous fantasy team had he played. But he didn’t. Nul points to us. Declan Rice and Kurt Zouma both played but only picked up half a point each, so were little better than our man who didn’t even feature.
Salah, Firmino and Robertson were solid picks as they all either scored or assisted against Bournemouth, and Bernd Leno made five saves against the Terriers for Arsenal. Our team wasn’t a complete bust, but it didn’t break the bank either.
Draft Kings‘ game has six matches from which we can select our team in week 28, so by using our algorithm to find the players who have performed best over the last six weeks, we’ve assembled our team. Before we reveal the eight men, here are the matches this week.
It’s tough to pick a team this week. Pick the top five performers on our leader board and the budget is basically used up. So we have to be more selective than we sometimes are.
Three of our eight men wear the red of Liverpool: Alisson in goal, Virgil van Dijk in defence, and Sadio Mané in midfield. What, no Salah? Told you we had to be a bit more creative with our $50k.
We’ve two players ‘from’ Manchester too, though it’s one from each side. Paul Pogba has been in superb form lately, and Crystal Palace rarely offer up much opposition to United for some reason. Sergio Aguero has scored hat-tricks in his last two appearances at the Etihad, so had to be included here.
However, we will be hoping that West Ham’s Declan Rice presents some resistance to City, as he’s in our team too. The final two spots go to Joshua King – who’s up against Arsenal – and Jan Bednarek, who should be able to keep misfiring Fulham at bay.
Here’s our full fantasy football week 28 team. Good luck!
