Our team from week 20 was one of our better recent efforts. Mohamed Salah may have run riot against Arsenal, with a goal and an assist among his collection of contributions, but he wasn’t our top points contributor.
That honour fell to Cardiff’s Neil Etheridge, who made seven saves including a penalty. As just 6.8 percent of contestants selected him, he was a shrewd pick. He doesn’t make the team this week, but we’ll get to that shortly. Before we do, here are the matches in Draft Kings’ game this Saturday.
Mohamed Salah and Eden Hazard. If you’re a football fan on Twitter, especially if you happen to support Chelsea or Liverpool, you’ll have seen the type of weirdo I’m thinking of. People who are so besotted with their chosen hero, they dismiss their rival as a talent-less fraud.
Turns out that Salah and Hazard are both good players, and both are in our team this week. Though of course, whichever one scores most against either Brighton or Newcastle will be the true greatest. The other will be a fraud, in case you haven’t heard.
We have a Chelsea-Liverpool pairing at the back too, as David Luiz is alongside the Reds’ one remaining fit central defender. Luckily for Jürgen Klopp, Virgil van Dijk should be good enough to largely keep the Seagulls’ attack at bay.
Jorginho is technically our utility player, but he’s in midfield along with the Watford pairing of Roberto Pereyra and Abdoulaye Doucoure. With no goalkeepers in our leader board’s top 50 players for the last six match weeks, we’ve gone with the stopper from our last team of the week, Ben Foster.
Here’s the team in full, good luck this week!
