And so to fantasy football week 16. Our main hero from last week’s team was Shane Duffy, as he scored and picked up a total of 16 points. He often features in our team of the week, so it wasn’t really a surprise. Leroy Sané and Wayne Hennessey did okay too, but our other quintet largely sunk without trace.
Here’s our leader board for the last six match weeks, from which we’ll select our Draft Kings team. Before we look at who the Twelve algorithm has opted for this week, here are the matches which are included in the game on Saturday.
It may seem a little odd to choose three of their players considering the difficulty of their fixture, but we’re going heavy on Manchester City this week. You proably guessed that from the photo at the top of the page, to be honest. Leroy Sané, David Silva and Raheem Sterling are all on board, so we’re hoping they tear Chelsea a new one.
The Blues have only won one of their last four league games, and have been giving up clear-cut chances in big games for fun. It’s not really a good strategy when you face City, but it’s hard to see it not happening again.
Lukasz Fabianski is our man between the sticks. He’s up against a Crystal Palace side who are the second lowest scorers in the Premier League. A clean sheet should not be beyond him and his West Ham bretheren. One of whom is Felipe Anderson, who also makes the VIII.
Fabianski will have Lewis Dunk and Sol Bamba in front of him. They’re cheap picks, but you don’t get a trio of City players into your side without making a few cutbacks elsewhere. In fairness, both players are facing sides from the bottom three this weekend, so could easily have very profitable afternoons.
Our final wildcard pick is Aron Gunnarsson who will keep Bamba company in their match with Southampton. Here’s our full team, good luck!
