We had our usual mixed bag of an outcome last week. Lacazette, Maddison and Sigurdsson all got into double figures for points. However, our other quintet mustered just 5.75 between them, so shall remain nameless here.
Here are the matches in Draft Kings‘ competition this week.
We’ve run the numbers (you can see our leader board here), and here are the eight players we’re resting our hopes on in week 12.
The obvious choice is Harry Kane. The magic chin has scored three times in eight Premier League appearances against Crystal Palace, with all three coming at Selhurst Park just as this weekend’s match does. Kane is joined in our team by his Spurs’ colleague Kieran Trippier. The former Burnley man has set up plenty of goals for Kane over the years, so hopefully they link up again on Saturday.
Another team with two players included are Bournemouth. The Cherries are represented by Nathan Aké at the back, with Callum Wilson up top. The latter has five goals and three assists in his last 10 appearances, and will fancy his chances at Newcastle.
But Spurs and Bournemouth don’t have the most players in our VIII this week. That honour falls to Watford, with a trio of Hornets included in our selection. Choosing a goalkeeper is always difficult, so we ran a new query (the results are here) and it offered us Ben Foster.
He is joined by Etienne Capoue and Twelve favourite, Roberto Pereyra. Watford are up against a Southampton side who are really struggling and were beaten 6-1 last weekend. With the Saints yet to win at home in 2018/19, Watford could be well placed to increase their misery.
The final slot goes to our player of the week from two weeks ago, Fabian Balbuena. West Ham travel to a Huddersfield side who have only scored one home goal this season. As that came against Fulham, who average almost three goals against per match, the Hammers defence should keep them to nil.
Here’s the team in full. Good luck!
